“ Maciano’s is my family’s favorite pizza place! We’ve eaten in many times and gotten takeout a ton. We’ve never been disappointed! The pizza is always delicious, the cinnamon sticks are great, and my kids recently tried the man n cheese balls and those are a new favorite! ”
“ Had just one night in Rockford. Had a loaded thin crust pizza to go and a couple Founder's IPAs while I waited. Expected a good pizza from other reviews. I was surprised to have as good of a pizza as any I have ever had. I eat my share of pizza and travel a lot over the past 50 years. I can only think of 2 other pizza restaurants ever that were as good as this was for me. Two young ladies and one gentleman working were all pleasant and professional. Wish the place was near home for me. ”
“ Gem in an unassuming package. This classic Italian restaurant is hidden in a strip mall. You might pass it by if you're unaware of its reputation. The food is amazing. I had their signature Penne Vita Mia and there was plenty left over to take home. My only complaints are that there was only one server for a crowded dining area (he was great, but definitely needed help). Also, the dining room was FREEZING. People were wearing coats and sweaters. ”
“ Most people get the thin crust, but I ordered a 14in Pan Pizza with The Works, and what I got was a pizza piled so high with toppings and cheese that each individual slice ended up being a satisfying meal. Cheese placement extended fully outwards & slightly onto the raised edges of the crust which is always good to see. Also nice to see some protective measures taken in the boxing of the pizza to prevent sticking to the bottom or top of the pizza box. Crazy good value, and very tasty too. Would recommend the Pan style pizza w/ the works if you haven't tried it. ”
“ I spend 3 weeks twice a year in Rockford. Because you can't get this style pizza where I live I always try several places. While I certainly have not tried them all, on my last couple of visits, this was the best pizza. The extra thin crust sausage and cheese is pretty much a perfect pizza. Crisp cracker crust delicious real Italian sausage and finished with a nice dusting of oregano in the perfect cheese. The deep dish was also terrific. ”
“ we haven’t had pizza in the Rockford area in years. we’ve tried a few other places, but this is by far the best sauce and cheese on a pizza that we have got to try since being back in Rockford. we will definitely be back to try more pizzas and some other menu items soon! Pictures this crust 16” extra cheese, double pepperoni, ground beef and half with onions and black olives. Also cheesy beef with side of Au jus and French fries topped with sweet peppers. We also tried the deep fried mozzarella sticks. The cheese sticks were good, but the breading was too thick. Everything else was amazing. The pizzas and sandwich were all delicious. It came out fresh and hot, will be trying pasta next! ”
“ Food was pretty good, service was okay. Kinda small inside but we were able to sit and enjoy our food. The restaurant was packed and only one server, so things took quite a bit of time to come out. But overall it was a nice quaint little place. ”
